Racer: 1971 Alfa GTAm replica

We really like the Alfa GTAm. It has a nice aggressive look. What started in 1965 with the Auto-Delta Giulia GTA, resulted in 1969 with the wider-bodied GTAm. The A standing for “allegerata” or lightweight and the M for “maggiorata” or bigger.
This replica GTAm based on the Alfa 2000 GTV is up for sale at AlfaRomeoService in Holland for €27900. It comes with a choice of two engines. A 1800 carburetted or a 2-liter injected, both 8 valve engines. They have 190 and 180 bhp respectively. The GTA wheels are a very nice set but these gold-coloured racing wheels suit the car very well.
With the 1600 GTA, 500 cars were built for homologation. With the 2000 GTAm there was no need for homologation cars, only about 40 cars were produced. Hence the popularity of GTAm replicas.

how much would it be for a shell with no engine, as already have my own and what type of gearbox comes with it?

Car comes with two engines. 2.0 8V carbed with 190bhp or 2.0 8V Twin Spark injected 180bhp.
You will need to ring them up yourselves though. I have seen another GTAm racer replica somewhere. Will dig it up …
