Quick fix: 1984 Audi Ur Quattro
The Audi Quattro is undoubtedly one of the most significant rally cars ever made. When the rally car first came out, as rally entry rules dicated, Audi made about 500 homologation cars. These proved so popular with the buying public, that eventually more than 11,000 rolled out of the factory.
This nice red example is for sale out of Belgium where the car had already been imported from Holland. It is ready for homologation. There does seem to be an issue with the distributor which needs fixing. There are sparks but no ignition. Should be an easy fix but the seller is too busy with building works at the moment.
The engine is a turbo-charged 2.1-liter 5-cylinder that delivers 200bhp. It has only covered 85,000kms which is the major selling point with this car. It also features a speaking board computer and digital dash and airconditioning, next to loads of other options.
The seller would like €12,000 for it. He says it is not a forced sale so he is likely to stick to his asking price, but who knows. This nice example is for sale on Kapaza out of Oosterzele, Belgium.
