In some parts of the world, these little cars are close to reaching cult status, not in the least because of a talk show celebrity called Jay Leno producing this little video. Last month, a silver coupe came up for sale in the UK and didn’t sell. We still don’t really understand why not. These cars have “cool” written all over them.

On anciennes.net we discovered this little gem for sale out of Belgium for an unbelievable EUR6500. It looks better than the silver one for sale on ebay UK last month. The interior looks striking with the massive factory steering wheel. The black leather interior looks spotless. And it is LHD.

The seller claims the engine is running great but just the front brakes need a bit of sorting out. The airbox and ignition cover do seem to oxidise quite easily on these cars so this would need a little TLC to make it look great again. These small 800cc 4-cylinder engines rev all the way to 8000rpm generating 70bhp, good for 100mph. And the sound … !
